5th Annual End the School to Jail Track Accountability Meeting

Come and support Denver students and parents as they demand the freedom to learn and to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline in our schools!

At our 5th Annual Accountability meeting with DPS, youth and parent leaders of Padres & Jovenes Unidos will present the district with a next-generation report card that includes unprecedented data for each of the district's 185 schools. The report card evaluates the district's progress and shortcomings over the school year 2014-2015 and calls for new steps forward. Youth and parent leaders will provide solutions and demands for the district to end racial disparities in school discipline and to keep the district accountable of following discipline policy and state law. This community accountability process will continue to break new ground for the national movement against the school-to-prison pipeline.
